"To get to work, most of us commute in one form or another. This may be by foot, car, train, plane or any other possible mode. But each of them is part of a different experience, full of stories and incidents that unfold on a daily basis. Most of us have wished that we could document some of these occurences, but either things happened too fast, or we were intimidated by the circumstances."
"In this series I have done the documentation for you, except that I have added my own point of views, and started to tell my little stories along the road. I am telling stories of people who were nothing more than shadows on my trip, I narrate stories that are fractions of my imagination while looking at people's faces. And at times I exaggerate little things, just to bring them to the forefront and share interesting tidbits with my audience."
"This exhibit was customized with the Sapient culture in mind. Most of you commute to work. Many of you also travel frequently to meet with clients and in a way this exhibit is a tribute to all of you and the time that you spend on the road and perhaps away from family. Hopefully this exhibit will stimulate your imagination, which in turn can generate more interesting stories. The basis of this collection are photographs from Stockholm, Cologne, Paris, London, Boston and New York City, taken in the past three years." - Naveed Nour |
