Altering Reality

The placement of two objects, how they interact and relate to each other and their surroundings can be a premise for a story.  Enter organic and inorganic forms.  Enter landscape.  All of this presents an opportunity for the imagination to run its course.  This series is a mental escape, a place other than here that could be a storyboard for a narrative.  If something is out of context, the human mind tends to create a scenario that explains the inconsistent and disjointed.   To me, a photograph possesses an aura of magic.  I have physically created a scenario that did not naturally exist, giving the viewer and myself freedom to explore and invent.  It is fascinating for me as a photographer to alter reality, simply by combining landscapes, objects and living things in a new way.
