BOSTON, MA: This collaboration has an unusual breadth and scope achieved through eight individual artists bringing together differing ideologies, which amplifies the uniqueness of each. Rather than establishing a theme and creating images to coexist within that theme, these eight artists created work separately and embrace the differences. Though their messages diverge, each seeks to manifest certain emotions with their work. When viewed together, these differing messages will interact within the viewer. Taken as a whole, the works will vibrate against one another, at times in harmony and at times in discord. The result will be a greater overarching sensation that gets imbued to the viewer as they experience a range of emotions. In this exhibit they explore their full artistic range and incorporate not only photography, but also such mediums as video and encaustic wax. All the artists are primarily photographers.
